
SAP Upgrade to ERP 6.0 EHP 4
After a successful tender application, Silfen was chosen as the implementation partner for the upgrade of SAP 4.6C to ERP 6.0 Enhancement Package 4 at the Parliament of NSW.
Silfen successfully met all SAP upgrade tasks, delivering a clean and stable solution on time and under budget. This multi-module project saw all SAP deliverables being handled by Silfen; including Project Management, Technical/Basis, Finance & Controlling and Human Capital Management.
Employee, Manager & Member Self Service
The implementation of SAP ERP 6.0 EHP4 at the Parliament has provided a platform to realise the benefits of previously locked HCM potential.
The Parliament is in the process of rolling out Employee, Manager and Member Self Service solutions delivered by Silfen. ELearning has been included in the offering with more functions to streamline employee related administration tasks to come.

Payroll & Finance alignment of Labour Costing
UGL is a global leader in outsourced engineering, asset management and property services.
Capturing records of staff time worked is integral to their payroll and customer billing processes. Silfen implemented Labour costing functionality and reporting to accurately align timesheet unit pricing with actual payroll costs.
UGL can now accurately reconcile the breakdown of their labour costs across multiple Industrial Instruments and lines of business.
Enterprise Compensation Management Simplification
UGL utilise the SAP HCM Enterprise Compensation Management offering to administer employee salary reviews each year. A wide geographic footprint and diverse lines of business has made this process no easy feat!
Silfen worked with UGL to streamline technical aspects of the process, improving the end user experience and significantly reducing the administrative effort at review time.

HRIS Support & Implementation
Silfen partnered with CSR post SAP implementation to undertake the streamlining of a range of HCM system and business functions; including Leave Management, Leave Provisions, Worker's Compensation and Travel Management.
Silfen went on to implement paperless SAP Enterprise Compensation Management and Performance Appraisal solutions; standardising and simplifying previously disparate paper based processes.

Implementation of Global Upgrade
Zurich Australia where faced with the challenge of implementing a local Australian payroll function within a global SAP HCM context. This complex project was run out of multiple countries by a global SAP implementation partner.
